Tradewind are working with an inclusive faith Secondary School in Harrow who are seeking a confident and proactive English Graduate to join them as a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis this September 2019.

As an English Teaching Assistant, you will be working predominantly in the English department, supporting the class teacher by running individual and small group interventions and booster classes, to assist specific students to reach their full academic potential. You will also be working with students in Years 7 to 11 who have mild to moderate special educational needs. Prior experience working with SEN pupils is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

The school is located in a brand new £20million build, boasting state of the art science labs, computing rooms, design and technology workshops and classrooms that enable students to make outstanding progress through exceptional teaching and learning.

Serviced by the Jubilee line and local buses, this school is easily accessible from North, West and Central London.

To be successful in this English Teaching Assistant position in Harrow, you will:
*Be a recent English Graduate with a 2:1 minimum, strong A Levels and GCSEs
*Be confident, charismatic and engaging
*Be a hard worker, work well both individually and as part of a team
*Have a passion for nurturing growth, and providing exciting, engaging learning environments
*This position would particularly suit an English Graduate aspiring to train as a Teacher in the near future
