As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure conduct of examinations at various schools within the Birmingham area. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the educational process while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up examination venues in accordance with strict procedures.
  • Verify and confirm the identity of candidates.
  • Distribute and collect examination papers and materials.
  • Monitor and supervise candidates during the examination to ensure a fair and secure testing environment.
  • Handle any issues or irregularities that may arise during the examination process.
  • Adhere to and enforce examination regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist with the dismissal of candidates and collection of examination materials.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education level: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain calm and composed demeanour under pressure.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work on a part-time basis, with varying hours during examination periods.
  • Availability to work during weekdays, with occasional weekend assignments.
  • Successful completion of a mandatory training program.
