Tradewind Recruitment are working with a successful and popular secondary academy in West Essex who are seeking an Exams Officer to join their team from September. The position will be offered on a full time, long term basis for full academic year at least. Following a successful assignment there is every likelihood the role with be extended or made permanent.

As an Exams Officer, you will be responsible for the smooth running of mock and GCSE examinations across the academic year. You will work as part of a team to ensure that exams are run in accordance with the Examinations board, invigilating staff are working in accordance to the JCQ handbook and that students have an examination environment that will allow them the best opportunity to succeed.

This position is suited to experienced Exams Officers/Exams Assistants seeking their next opportunity, or someone who has worked in education and looking for a change. As an Exam Officer, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to communicate successfully with students and staff alike. You will have a proven track record of working with a high level of accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality and be a highly organised individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

Located in West Essex close to a main train station, the school is easily commutable from parts of East London on public transport. There is onsite parking available for staff for those that drive.
