A newly furbished specialist school, in the leafy suburbs of Solihull. The head teacher is looking for a dedicated KS2 teacher to join their supportive team and teach a class of 8 children with ASD starting September 2019.

This setting, specialising in the care and education of children with Autism, is looking to expand its capacity in the new academic year, further growing its presence in the community and involvement with families.

The person they are looking for:
*Confidence with ASD and challenging behaviour
*Long term commitment from a practitioner that considers school life another family
*A collaborative, driven individual who will play a part in the setting's expansion
*Ideally someone with Team Teach training (not mandatory)

The role:
*5 days per week (4 days could be considered for the right person)
*term time only
*10 children in class
*All high functioning and verbal
*3 LSAs to support learning

The location: Very accessible via train and car with free parking on site

The essentials To join us and be successful in this Teacher role you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
