Key Responsibilities:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall development and well-being of the youngest learners. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the EYFS teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
- Providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborating with the EYFS team to assess and monitor student progress.
- Supporting the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning community.
Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
- Previous experience working in an EYFS setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a nurturing approach to working with young children.
- Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
