About the School - EYFS Leader- Croydon, South East London

This close and tight-knit Church of England primary school, located in the borough of Croydon, is a short walk from two overground stations that can take you directly into London Bridge or London Victoria. This lively 1-form entry primary school are now seeking an experienced EYFS Leader who is passionate about providing a child centred Early Years curriculum where children can confidently develop towards achieving the Early Learning Goals. A large proportion of students speak English as an additional language where children demonstrate the inclusive and welcoming ethos the school encompasses. As EYFS lead within this school, you will be working alongside the Nursery teacher and ensuring smooth transitions and strong progress across the Foundation stage. The EYFS setting within school is a child initiated setting where provisions include sand and water areas, role play corner, construction, mathematical learning areas and numerous indoor and outdoor writing areas. Parents are extremely supportive within the school and there is regular communication through workshops and guidance sessions over the year. This role has arisen due to an upcoming retirement and therefore the school are seeking an individual who is looking for a permanent role for the long term. About the Role - EYFS Leader- Croydon, South East London

QTS achieved and observed "good" level of teaching.
For this position, you will need to be available for Easter or September 2020.
The suitable EYFS Leader will be an individual who is committed to planning a holistic approach to the curriculum and ensuring high attainment levels through using the "Development Matters" framework.
For this role, you will be a EYFS Leader who has recently taught EYFS using the UK curriculum.
The successful individual will be a primary teacher who aspires for further leadership opportunities and aims to consistently improve through personalised CPD and feedback from an outstanding senior leadership team.
