The School - Nursery Teacher - Bexley, South East London

This creative and thriving 2-form entry primary school are an aspirational learning setting where every child is given the opportunity to develop independence, empathy and resilience. Ofsted have highlighted the Early Years setting for offering exciting open ended resources for children to support their learning and make good progress from their starting points. The Nursery provision is a 1 form setting where there are 30 children in the morning and 26 children in the afternoon. Additionally, the school is part of a local tight-knit trust which provides access to progressive opportunities and personalised CPD. A vacancy has arisen due to a teacher being moved within the Trust and therefore this is the perfect opportunity for an experienced EYFS teacher who wants to make their mark on an early year's provision. Furthermore, you will be working alongside two Reception teachers to ensure that transition is smooth and seamless between age groups. Additionally, behaviour is excellent within the school where children feel safe and motivated to learn. About the Role - Nursery Teacher - Bexley, South East London

For this position, you must have had experience teaching in an EYFS provision in a Primary School.
The successful EYFS teacher will be able to confidently plan around children's interests.
QTS achieved and observed "good" level of teaching.
For this role, you will have a proven track record of raising attainment and ensuring all children are making good progress towards achieving the GLD.
To be successful in this position you will need EYFS experience and ability to maintain high levels of attainment.
You will have an in depth understanding of the EYFS curriculum and have previously taught the National Curriculum and use the "Development Matters" framework.
