Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, Denton, Tameside
Sector: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Type: Full-time (Until the end of the academic year)

Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have a Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance and experience in EYFS? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Tradewind is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the Denton area of Tameside. This full-time position offers the chance to work with young learners and make a real difference in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Learning Activities: Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing learning activities, ensuring they are engaging and tailored to the needs of the children.
  • Individual and Group Support: Provide one-on-one and small group support to children, helping them to reach their full potential.
  • Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, supporting children's emotional and social development.
  • Assessment: Assist in the observation and assessment of children's progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Resource Preparation: Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.
  • Child Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working in an EYFS setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient and nurturing approach
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
