Early Years Teaching Assistant required for an exceptional private school located in Radlett, Hertfordshire!

***Starting immediately - Maternity cover role lasting till December at the earliest

***£80 to £90 per day - 8am to 5pm working day

***One to one and small group work

Located in Radlett on the boarders of London and Hertfordshire this exceptional independent school has been successfully educating students between the ages of 3 and 13 since it was officially opened in 1935. The school has the highest standards of education and its students go on to achieve in all areas, but it still retains the feel of a friendly, community school. As with all schools there has been some impact from the recent pandemic and the school is keen to ensure that they support students at the earliest opportunity and are therefore looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who will work in the Early Years / Reception to start at the earliest opportunity. This is a rare opportunity to join an exceptional school with small class sizes where you can have a huge impact daily!

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to have:

***NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be an advantage but not essential
***Good understanding of the EYFS play based learning philosophy

***Strong understanding of phonics and how to motivate young learners

***The energy and desire to ensure every young person develops a passion for learning

***Ability to commit to a long term role starting ASAP till Dec- working hours 8am to 5pm
***This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks and you must be happy to make the initial payment for the check which can be claimed back once you have worked 20 days for Tradewind.
