Job Title: Early Years Foundation Teacher (EYFS) Teacher

Location: South Liverpool Primary School

Position Type: Full-Time

Are you a passionate educator with a strong commitment to fostering the early development and learning of young children? We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school located in South Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of children during their crucial early years.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for children aged 3 to 5 years old, in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, growth, and social development.
  • Assess children's progress and development, and use this information to inform future planning and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to provide individualised support to children with diverse learning needs.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular feedback on their child's progress and offering support and guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and experience in its effective implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young children, colleagues, and parents alike.
  • Creativity, patience, and empathy in working with young learners, recognising and celebrating their individual strengths and achievements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.
