Tradewind are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream Primary school in Hyde. The position is full-time, working on a 1:1 basis with a student in Early Years. Experience with challenging behaviour would be advantageous.

Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £80 - £85 per day on a PAYE system.

Your duties might include:

Supporting and managing a pupil with autistic traits, mainly on a 1:1 basis

Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care

Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn.

Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
