Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a good School based in Kingston, who are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to undertake a full-time role for the remainder of the 2020/21 academic year, with a permanent position available for the right candidate in September 2021.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, the role will see you support and nurture children in both Nursery and Reception, you will interact with many different children with varying needs and build rapport with them to really aid their developments and improve their outcomes which is incredibly rewarding.

The school aim to provide rich experiences and opportunities through a broad and varied curriculum, which allows every child to enjoy their own success. Focussing not only on the academic achievement of pupils, but striving to develop the whole child by offering a range of sporting, creative and residential activities. The school try to make learning creative, stimulating, inclusive and fun, with lots of challenge and ambitious goals for the future.

The core duties of this EYFS Teaching Assistant role are:
*To work with groups of children under the supervision of the teacher including the delivery of programmes of work and implementation of support plans.
*Supervise and provide support for pupils, including those with special needs ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
*Give regular feedback on children's development to the class teacher and file records.
*Establish good relationships with pupils, taking on role model by presenting a positive personal image and responding appropriately to individual needs.
*To contribute to the planning of the activities within the setting in line with the requirements of the EYFS/Foundation Phase and/or the national curriculum.
*To provide a happy, stimulating, safe, and secure environment where all children are encouraged to meet their potential and where their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs are met.

Graduates or applicants holding an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an Early Years Degree are welcome, as are experienced TAs. Personality, ambition, energy and a can-do attitude will be favoured regardless of academic background for this role
