We are seeking to appoint a patient, calm, caring person who can build positive relationships with children at the start of their primary learning journey. You will need an understanding, and ideally experience, of the reception class curriculum and empathy with children who have some social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.


We are looking for someone who:
*Is a team playing and likes to get stuck in!
*Can support the class teacher in setting up areas of learning and making the classroom a vibrant and fun learning place.
*Shows enthusiasm for outdoor learning and imaginative play, as well as focused adult led sessions.
*Is able to take responsibility for assessing children's learning and can report back to the teacher on developments in children's progress.
*Shows an understanding for the welfare and social needs of the children in the class.
