We are recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant on behalf of a primary school which caters for children aged 3 to 11. The school has an experienced, dedicated team of teachers, support staff and Governors who have high aspirations for every child in their community.

The school has a caring ethos and high expectations of children's academic achievement, because of this children are challenged and supported to do the best they can in all aspects of school life. Children make good progress during their time at school, with children of all levels of ability achieving well.

The school is based in Limeside, Oldham and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within their EYFS department. You must have prior experience of supporting children within both Nursery and Reception and be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The role itself is working from 8.30am to 3.30pm, on Monday to Friday. You will be supporting the class teachers within both Nursery and Reception. You will be taking groups for phonics, fine motor skills, social skills and reading booster sessions and you may be expected to be able to take the full class in the teachers absence. The school are looking for somebody who can be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
