Tradewind are currently working with a Hull based Secondary Academy helping them secure a full-time Female PE Teacher for their PE department. You would be welcome to apply for the role should it become a permanent post. The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for teaching PE lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role would be expected for this position, so the successful candidate would be paid to scale from day one. This is initially to cover a planned absence until October half term, but there is potential for this to be extended in the future. If successful, you will start this position on September 7th.

The academy in question is a medium sized academy, catering for approximately 1000 students, aged between 11 and 16. You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 PE classes, and the ability/experience teaching Dance would be desirable but in no means essential. Applications from passionate NQTs are welcomed and encouraged for this position, as you will be working within an experienced department with an excellent head of department. Being on transport links from Hull City centre, this school is accessible via public transport.

The role:
*Teaching PE across Key Stage 3 and 4
*Potentially teaching Key Stage 4 Dance
*Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
*Running/helping with after school classes


Essential requirements:
Experience working in a secondary school
QTS
All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
