We are working with a secondary school in the borough of Westminster in recruiting for an organised Food Technician for a long-term role starting in February 2020. This role has the potential to become permanent.

Are you a passionate about Food? Are you able to use your enthusiasm and knowledge to assist a school food technology department and support them in providing top quality lessons?

This friendly secondary school are looking for a dedicated and hardworking technician to join and support their well-resourced Food Technology department.

The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of duties including:
* Supporting food technology classes.
* Preparation of teaching materials.
* Maintaining stock.
* Keeping surfaces, cookers, sinks and equipment clean.
* Checking services (gas, electricity and water) and equipment within the classroom is safe.
* Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of staff.

To be considered for this role you should:
*Have experience working within a school food technology department (preferable)
*Have the ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students
Be self-motivated and organised
