Food Technology Teacher

Tradewind Hertfordshire are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Food Teacher for one of Hertfordshire's highest performing academic schools to start after the October half term for remainder of the academic year on a permanent contract. The school have secured superb GCSE results for the last 3 years and were graded by Ofsted as outstanding in all areas. Their school building is a warm, open planned, purpose built environment, offering well lit, clean and tidy classrooms.

As a Food Technology Teacher you'll benefit from a collaboratively department, sharing lesson scaffolding, schemes of work and resources. Part time Food Technology Teachers can be accommodated (0.6 p/week) with full teaching days on Tuesday - Thursday, full time teachers will be required to cover within other areas of Technology or the school on a cover basis. Focussing on Food Technology across Key stages 3,4 and 5 you will hold full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking, assessments and parents evening. The school hold high expectations for each and every pupil. This is a large, award winning faith School based in Borehamwood in a large purpose built building.

The school and department is well equipped and the school are looking for an enthusiastic and professional teacher focussed on implementing engaging lessons to inspire pupils and understand the importance of raising attainment. Leadership in the school work collaboratively and will a clear vision for all pupils and staff alike.

The Role:
*Delivering Food Technology across Key stage 3 & 4.
*Planning, marking and assessment.
