Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit in Netherton, Sefton. This full-time, long-term position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students who display challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the individual needs of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Effectively manage challenging behaviours and create a supportive and structured classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Resilience and a positive attitude to meet the challenges of working in a Pupil Referral Unit.
