Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Food Technology to join a dynamic secondary school in North East Lincolnshire. Position: Full-Time Teacher of Food Technology

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Until at least the end of the academic year

School Hours: 08:15 - 14:50

Salary: Competitive daily rate, scaling between £153.85 and £238.59, inclusive of planning and marking time.

Role Specifics:

  1. Dynamic Teaching: Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive teaching programmes in Food Technology, ensuring effective learning outcomes for all students.

  2. Resource Development: Create and share innovative resources tailored to the subject, maintaining collaborative links across the Trust for access to a diverse range of materials.

  3. Enrichment Activities: Organise and lead enrichment and enhancement activities, fostering a passion for culinary arts beyond the classroom.

  4. Differentiation: Assess and accommodate diverse learning needs within lessons, ensuring all students are appropriately challenged and supported.

  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, coursework, and subject-related data, readily available for review upon request.

  6. Collaborative Approach: Foster open communication and close liaison with fellow staff members, promoting a supportive and cohesive learning environment for students.

  7. Progress Tracking: Utilise Trust systems effectively to monitor and communicate student progress, ensuring timely intervention and support where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialisation or substantial experience in Food Technology education
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
