Tradewind are working with a "Good" rated Slough comprehensive, seeking a Food Technology teacher to join their staffing team for September 2019.

You will be required to teach in an atmosphere that Ofsted praised for creating "Confident, self-motivated and keen to learn" pupils. The school has undergone a positive change over the last 3 years since the internal appointment of their new Headteacher who knows his school well. Staff morale is high and with the completed new 6th form block the school are fully focused on an 'Outstanding' from their next Ofsted.

This role will include teaching Food Technology up to and including KS4, with the opportunity to offer another DT subject at KS3 if desired. The school are open to applications from part time teachers and NQTs- their aim is to invest in talent before circumstances. In addition, the school has positions offering extra responsibilities starting in January 2020 including HoD and Head of Sixth form (amongst others).

-Teachers with experience of teaching Food Technology as a specialist subject, UK experience preferred but overseas teachers with strong subject knowledge will be considered
