The school is seeking a teacher who is equally understanding and passionate about educating young children and getting the most out individuals. The school works on a creative curriculum that best serves this outlook.

You will be required to plan for the Reception class, however as a 2 form entry school there is the opportunity to co-plan, and many plans will be left by the teacher going on maternity leave. Some adaption will be required. The Leadership team are also very supportive and you will have a Deputy on hand to assist.

The school is based in Oxhey Wood with walking distance to the met line station, easy access to the M1 and with a large school car park. There is also a bus stop directly opposite the school with route in and out of Watford.

This is a fixed term maternity contract starting April 2020 with the salary on offer ranging between £23,720 to £35,971. Hours are 8.30pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday, fixed term contract.

The essentials
Hold PGCE with QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
