Our client is larger than average multi-cultural state school that has recently become part of an award-winning academy group. The school has extensive outdoor play area and grounds as well as superb indoor facilities including sensory sweet and PC suite due to a recent refurbishment.

The team are all very enthusiastic and support each other. Being a larger school, you will have the opportunity to co-plan for your core subjects. You will be expected as a year 1 teacher to have experience and confidence in delivering phonics schemes.

In return as a Year 1 Teacher you will get to work as an individual with a creative syllabus and a fun dynamic team. This a full-time teaching role to start asap through to the end of the academic year. For the right person you me be offered a permanent role. The salary of offer is between £23,720 and £33,008pa.

The school is just 10 mins drive from the M1 with a large school carpark, there are also excellent transport links via Luton train station and bus routes in the local area.

Hold PGCE with QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
