Tradewind are supporting a large 2 form entry school in Hemel Hempstead with their recruiting of a full time year 1 teacher to cover maternity leave from January 2020.

The school is seeking a teacher who is equally understanding and passionate about educating young children and getting the most out individuals. The school works on a creative curriculum that best serves this outlook.

You will be required to plan for the year 1 class, however as a 2 form entry school there is the opportunity to co-plan and many plans will be left by the teacher going on maternity leave. Some adaption will be required. The Leadership team are also very supportive and you will have a Deputy on hand to assist.

The school is based in Hemel Hempstead and has very easy access to the M1 and M25 with a large school car park. Alternatively a 30 minute walk from the main train station and also directly opposite a bus stop with excellent bus links.

This is a fixed term maternity contract starting January 2020 with the salary on offer ranging between MPS1 and MPS6.

The essentials
Hold PGCE with QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
