Our Humanities department will provide you with space and a rewarding environment in which you will thrive and deliver high quality teaching in a collaborative setting and lead aspects of the department.

As a Geography teacher you will:
*Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the classes you are assigned within the context of the School's plans, curriculum and schemes of work.
*Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school's policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school's vision and values.
*Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils.

We are looking for candidates who:

Working with the Head of Humanities your responsibilities will include:

Teaching Geography across the 11-16 age range
Inspiring excellent attainment through promoting high standards of teaching and learning
Advising pupils and parents on progress, giving clear guidance for improvement
Assisting the Head of Department to prepare students for university applications in this subject area
The ideal candidate will be a well-qualified graduate with qualified teacher status, or the equivalent gained through experience, with the enthusiasm and ability to inspire, excite and motivate pupils in Geography.
Location:
Based in the borough of Greenwich; close to Plumstead Overground stations and local buses and transport.
