This long-standing client of Tradewind Recruitment's seek to appoint a full-time Teacher of Geography to join their current department from Easter 2019. The position has become available due to an internal promotional of the current Geography Teacher leaving a gap at this pivotal time of the academic year.

A bit about the school;
*Based in the borough of Hillingdon, West London, easily accessible from across the capital with local Piccadilly, Metropolitan and Overground stations.
*A co-educational school with Academy status that specialises in Mathematics and Computing.
*OFSTED judged "Good" school with "Outstanding" behaviour and leadership and management.

The role in question is to teach the subject from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level. The timetable is equally split across 50% Key Stage 3 and 4 combined and 50% A-level. As mentioned, the role is to begin full-time from April 2019. It will be joining a well-established department, working under an award-winning Head of Department who has been at the school since 2013 working his way through the ranks to now leading a great team. *the school want to meet an Geography Teacher who potentially would like to take on some leadership responsibility in future-they are renowned for internal promotions

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
