This client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to teach Geography. The successful candidate will need to be a specialist in this area and will be joining a Geography Department that has excellent GCSE and A-level results, and is an integral part of the school curriculum. This role would be suitable for an NQT as their programme is excellent and they welcome applications from new teachers.
Your role will include:
*To support the Head of Department.
*To support the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying in the curriculum area, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by the Governing Body and Headteacher of the school.
*To develop and enhance his/her teaching practice.
*To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher within the curriculum area and as a Form Tutor.
