This client is based in Clapham and is looking to appoint an experienced, qualified Teacher of Geography who wants to be part of a recently opened and growing academy.

The role will be:

• To play a crucial part in developing and adapt the classroom curriculum to meet students' needs and ensuring that students develop a depth and love of Geography.
• To make sure all students learn to read, write and speak confidently, fluently and accurately.
• To make sure all students develop a deep and connected knowledge and skills of Geography.
• To share and support the academy's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
• To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.

You must hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree to be considered for this role.

Located within easy reach of both Clapham Common and Brixton underground stations, this academy is at the heart of Lambeth.

They are a fantastic and ambitious new school that opened to their first group of Year 7 students in September 2020. The school is for boys and girls, of mixed ability and aged from years 11 to 16.

The academy is in a brand new and state-of-the-art building. They are fully equipped to ensure that teachers have access to the resources that they need to teach their subject to the highest level.
