Our client is a school based in the inner London borough of Newham. The school has a 43-acre site with impressive facilities in every phase and in every subject area. The school have been able to maintain a Good Ofsted for many years now. Over the years, this school has seen substantial improvements in examination results and rates of student progress where pupils are known to behave well, work hard in lessons and are keen to succeed. With the curriculum tailored to the needs of each student, providing a balance of challenge and support to enable each child to achieve their potential. The headteacher is adamant on high personal standards in relation to attendance, punctuality and behaviour from both staff and students.
Tradewind are looking for a qualified Geography teacher to start a role immediately. As a Geography teacher you will be responsible for students aged 11 to 16 who are working for an understanding in Human and Physical Geography. The school are looking for an individual who has strong subject knowledge across key stage three and teaching at GCSE. The successful candidate will be required to act as a dedicated member of the humanities department, who can take on additional responsibilities if need be.
