Geography Teacher required for excellent school in Merton
Calling all Geography teachers!
Are you looking for an immediate KS3-4 teaching post in SW London?
Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a hardworking, dynamic, ambitious Geography teacher to join an oversubscribed, high achieving Boys school in Merton.
This is a full time, long-term role replacing a permanent teacher on an inner London salary.
The job will start next month on a 'temporary to permanent' trial basis.
Start Date: 15th March
(possible handover when the school re-opens on week commencing 8th March)
Note: The school pays national STPC salaries (M1-M6 and U1-U3) on Inner London scales.
Suitable candidate:
- A Geography teacher who can teach from KS3 to KS4, preferably with History teaching experience.
- A professional candidate who will attain the highest standards in teaching and learning.
- Someone who would be available full time, at least until July and interested in a potential permanent position from September.
The job: Teaching Secondary Geography to boys aged from 11 - 16 (KS3 - KS4). The ability and experience teaching A Level will also be an advantage but not essential.
The location: The school in Merton has excellent transport links. Is easily accessible by rail, tube, bus and by car.
