Graduate Achievement Coach / Teaching Assistant
Are you a 1st class or 2:1 degree holder who would like to gain experience in a busy school environment prior to doing teacher training? Would you be keen to take on a role that is more than a Teaching Assistant role, where you can get involved in the pastoral side of education?

If you answered yes and would be keen to find a permanent role that could lead to a teacher training contract, then we could have the role for you!

***Graduate Achievement Coach - 1st Class or 2:1 degree holders required
***Leading Primary School located in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire
***Varied role that includes mentoring, teaching assistant and intervention work
***ASAP start - £70 per day - Post to last till end of academic year
***Possible entrance to teacher training programme via School Direct

Located in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire this excellent Primary School has been raising attainment and improving outcomes for all of its students since the arrival of the forward-thinking Head teacher and her senior leadership team some five years ago. The school has seen vast improvements in all areas with results on leaving the school at the ned of Year 6 in Maths and English far above national averages. The school has worked hard to achieve this making improvements in all areas but one of the biggest success stories has been the introduction of Graduate Achievement Coaches who work with individual students and small groups to raise attainment and give support to students identified as on the border line of not achieving what is expected of them. Graduate Achievement Coach TA requirements:
*Minimum of a 2:1 degree and strong A-Levels
*Desire to gain in-class experience from a range of excellent teachers
*Strong, confident personality that will inspire students
*Keen to get involved with all aspects of school life including extracurricular activities
*Open to taking on teacher training later
