Our local St. Helens Secondary Schools are looking for additional support to help their pupils starting in September in various capacities including but not limited to Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor work.

The ideal candidate is someone that has a passion for childrens development, an enthusiastic approach to work and has previous experience with children on any level. Reliability and punctuality are also key

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in lessons; setting up an effective classroom environment, supporting pupils that need that little bit of extra help, assessing pupils against their learning goals and most importantly, getting stuck in.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will stand in in the absence of the regular teacher, overseeing behaviour and ensuring the set work is completed to a high standard, the role of a Cover Supervisor would be suited to an individual looking to progress into a potential teaching career.

• Reference-able experience working with secondary aged students
• Ideally a child related qualification
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

Pay for the work above ranges from £76 - £90 per day.
