Tradewind work with schools across Warrington who have a high demand for Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors - these positions are ideal for graduates looking to gain more experience before commencing that dream teacher training course.

The role of a Teaching Assistant (Primary, Secondary and SEN schools) will see you supporting the main class or subject teacher. You could be working on a one to one basis with individual students or in a small group basis. You may also be required to take small groups for intervention.
The role of a Cover Supervisor (Secondary Schools) will see you have a large degree of autonomy. You will stand in during the absence of the main class teacher, ensuring students complete set work as well as managing behaviour.

You can work on a day to day or long-term basis, experiencing a wide range of schools and making those all-important connections for when you are seeking a permanent job in your later career. Tradewind work with Primary, Secondary and SEN schools and you could experience all settings

To join us and be considered for this vacancy you must:
*Hold an undergraduate degree or expected to complete an undergraduate degree this academic year;
*Be positive and enthusiastic and able to quickly integrate yourself into the school community;
*Ideally hold an Enhanced DBS (on the update service), or be prepared to undertake a new DBS before assignment (the cost of the DBS is refunded after completing 20 days);
*Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references covering the last 2 years;
*Have the legal right to work in the UK.
