Tradewind are recruiting secondary trained student teachers NOW for a September 2020 start to work with our partner schools in the South Liverpool area. If you are yet to secure a post for September and want to register with an agency as a backup option or you prefer the flexibility that supply offers then please get in touch. Many of our schools offer NQTs to complete part or all of their NQT Induction year if you are successful in your application in your chosen subject.

Teaching with Tradewind allows you to work in a variety of schools to develop your experience and concentrate on what you do best, teach! Many schools will need your help this September to help pupils settle back into education and potentially implement 'catch up' learning for many pupils.

We are looking for secondary student teachers NOW to register and be ready to work in the Liverpool, Sefton and surrounding areas this September 2020.

So, can you complete your Induction whilst on supply?

Yes you can! You can complete your Induction over three terms in three different schools or should we be able to secure you a long-term position of a full academic year in one school, this will also enable you to complete your Induction. Only placements of one full term will count towards your Induction, and you need to complete the full time equivalent of one full academic year. For example, if you work part-time on supply then you will need to serve induction for two academic years.

We have developed our CPD courses to help hone the necessary skills in the classroom you'll need as an NQT, such as:

Interview Techniques
How to plan a good lesson in accordance with OFSTED
Effective Questioning in the Classroom
Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and Safeguarding
Supply Teaching Bible; for everyone new to supply
Creating Behaviour for Learning
