Tradewind Recruitment are working with a beautiful mainstream Secondary School in Barnet, who are seeking a talented graduate to join their team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September. This is a full-time role that will be offered on a long-term basis and run for the length of the academic year.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting student learning and progression in Key Stages 3 & 4. You will be working with key students across a range of subjects who have mile special needs or other barriers to their learning, you will support them individually within their classes, ensuring they are engaged in the lesson, helping them to remain focussed and delivering any differentiated lesson plans they are working on. You will also have the opportunity to plan, prepare and deliver group intervention lessons.

To be successful in this Graduate Teaching Assistant position, you will be a recent or soon-to-be graduate who is interested in exploring a career in education. Graduates from all disciplines will be considered for this post, however Graduates from English, Maths and Sciences are highly sought after. You will be a confident individual who can build lasting relationships founded on trust and respect with students and staff alike. Prior experience working with young people, such as tutoring or social volunteering will be advantageous, but not essential.

Serviced by the London Underground and local buses, this School is easily accessible from all areas of North and Central London. Free street parking is also available for those who drive.
