Tradewind Recruitment are working with a fast-paced, dynamic Secondary School in Brent who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team this January. This is a full position that will run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

About the role - Teaching Assistant - Brent:
*You will be working with a group of key students across KS3, KS4 and KS5 who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Learning Difficulties.
*You will work closely with the inclusion team, teachers and students to differentiate lesson plans and bespoke tasks and activities that give all students an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.
*As well as providing in class support to encourage, motivate and refocus your students' attention and engagement, you may also run small group and individual interventions outside of the classroom.
About the candidate - Teaching Assistant - Brent:
*The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree (minimum) in any discipline. Applicants aspiring to become teachers will be favoured preferably.
*You will be a hardworking, dedicated and motivated individual who is friendly, approachable and patient.
*A graduate who has experience working with children such as tutoring, youth work or mentoring would particularly suit this position. Prior experience is not strictly essential as all training will be provided.
