Are you an enthusiastic graduate with a burning desire to ignite young minds and embark on a rewarding journey towards becoming a teacher? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed educational institution starting February 19th 2024.

The Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in their students' educational journey. Working closely with experienced teachers and staff, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience, develop your teaching skills, and make a positive impact on young learners.


  • Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom materials, ensuring a vibrant and interactive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Lead small group activities and facilitate discussions to encourage active student participation.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and effective classroom management.

To be considered for this role:

  • A bachelor's degree in education or a relevant field
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Provide professional reference checks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, contracted hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 3.00pm Friday. The contract will begin on February 19th.
