Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with an OFSTED 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the London borough of Harrow, who are seeking hardworking and ambitious graduates, wanting to commence their careers in education this September. This is a full time, long term Teaching Assistant position of one academic year.

The successful applicant will:
*Be an outgoing, inspirational individual who is eager to further their own skills and knowledge in a classroom environment
*Be able to build positive relationships with students based on mutual trust and respect, in order to improve student attainment, and personal progression
*Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in any specialism
*Have the drive and aspiration to complete their teacher training after their Teaching Assistant experience

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of all students are met, and they are provided with a stimulating and encouraging environment to learn effectively. You will be working in both small groups and with individuals who may have a range of differing needs. Some students may have learning difficulties such as ASD, ADHD or Global Delay. Others may have English as their second language or come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and struggle with their behaviour. You will need to be adaptable, flexible, use your initiative and communicate well with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure all students are provided with the support they require.

This school is easily accessible from any direction in London, close to both the Jubilee London Underground Stations and local buses.

To be successful in the Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
*Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in any specialism
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
