Tradewind Recruitment is working with an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Secondary faith School in Harrow who are seeking a confident, proactive University Graduate to join their team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. This is a full time position that will commence after February Half Term and run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students across KS3 - KS5 classes of varying subjects, supporting, encouraging and motivating students who have learning and behavioural difficulties or mild special educational needs to ensure they are reaching their full potential. You will also work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to differentiate lessons for individual students and create bespoke learning tasks and activities.

To be successful as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at this Harrow Secondary School, you will need to be confident, personable and approachable, be an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to build professional relationships with students and staff alike.

This Graduate Teaching Assistant position in Harrow would particularly suit a recent University Graduate (especially from an English, Maths or Science discipline), who has some form of experience working with young people and aspires to train as a Secondary Teacher in the near future.
