Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Harrow

Salary: Daily rate of £90+ (depending on experience)

Start date: January

Contract: Full-time, long-term

We are currently looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an excellent Secondary School based in Harrow for the full academic year. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced teachers to provide classroom support to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons
  • Work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • Help with classroom management and behaviour management
  • Assist in marking and grading assessments
  • Support students with additional needs
  • Help with extra-curricular activities

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • A desire to work with students and contribute to their development
  • Previous experience working in a similar role would be an advantage
