As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Hillingdon, your responsibilities will include:
*Working on a one to one basis who require additional support within the classroom; engaging, motivating and encouraging students to do their best
*Working with small groups of students delivering small lessons or interventions that you have planned in accordance with the national curriculum, with guidance from class teachers
*Differentiating lessons or creating bespoke learning activities for students who have mild special educational needs or learning difficulties
To be successful in this Graduate Teaching Assistant position in Hillingdon, you will:
*Be a recent graduate (2:1 minimum) who is eager to commence a career within education
*Have a confident, positive, inclusive and creative persona, who can build rapport and successful relationships quickly
*Be able to follow instruction, take direction and advice well and work well both independently and within a team
*A graduate considering a career in teaching would be looked upon favourably
