Graduate Teaching Assistant - Key Information:

Graduate Teaching Assistant role:
-Two schools based in South Manchester
-Popular and welcoming Federation of schools looking to change their approach to teacher recruitment
-Full time, Monday - Friday school hours
-Immediate start
-Excellent senior leadership department
-Support pupils across both key stages to gain experience of the full primary age range
-Good transportation links


Graduate Teaching Assistant - The Role:
-Work alongside a talented and supportive SLT team
-Ability to organise and conduct interventions with the guidance of qualified teachers
-Varied and exciting - crucial experience prior to teaching training
-Develop teaching techniques and communication skills
-Monitor pupil progress
-Support pupils with a range of academic ability
-Deliver 1:1/group based intervention when required

To be eligible to apply for this role you will need:
-Transferable experience supporting children - not necessarily within a classroom
-Strong academic background in order to raise attainment and carry out interventions
-Experience and knowledge of SEN desired
-A positive and passionate approach to children's education
-A flexible and adaptable approach to work
-The ability to deliver fun and activities in line with the national curriculum
