SANZA Teaching Agency and Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a one form entry Primary School in the heart of Stoke Newington seeking an organised, professional, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work in Year 2. This school has great links to the local community and is known for its friendly staff and lovely children.
This primary school is looking for a person who has a proven track record in supporting teaching and learning or a graduate wishing to embark on teacher training in the future. As this is a Teaching Assistant role supporting in Year 2 only committed applicants will be considered.


The role will be:

*Supporting groups of children or individuals during class time across the Year 2 cohort

*Delivering intervention programmes in literacy and mathematics

*A daily playground duty, always ensuring the health of safety of children

*Working with children to support development socially and emotionally.



The successful Teaching Assistant will:

*Have experience with supporting pupils in an educational setting

*Have excellent interpersonal skills and be capable of building a strong partnership with the class teacher and communicate effectively with all members of the school community

*Have solid numeracy and literacy skills at a standard to support children up to year 6

*Be friendly, approachable and flexible

*Be a reflective individual who is committed to their own professional development
