About the School - Head of English - Redbridge, East London
Located in the outer London borough of Redbridge, close to the boarder of Essex is this Ofsted 'Outstanding' community school. Oversubscribed yearly thanks to its reputation for high achievement and excellent behaviour, the school has gone from strength to strength and is committed to developing further. From September and due to the current post holder retiring the school requires a Head of English to lead the department to new heights, building on the excellent work that has already been achieved. The department is staffed by talented teachers at all different stages of their careers, but all are highly motivated and committed to providing the best education possible for the school's excellent students.

Role Requirements - Head of English - Redbridge, East London
*Either a current Head of English who provide evidence of running a successful department or a highly experienced English Teacher who has held responsibility across the department and is confident in their ability to step up.
*Must hold UK QTS and be able to lead by example, teaching lessons that inspire, engage and progress at every level.
*Strong subject knowledge through to A-Level required as teaching timetable will consist of mainly KS5 teaching.
*The ability to support and develop staff at all stages of their careers.
