This welcoming and close-knit secondary school is based in the leafy London borough of Bromley and is only 25 minutes from London Victoria on a direct train. With easy access to Kent countryside and located 10 minutes' walk from Bromley's centre, this school is perfect for local and relocating teachers. This fantastic school has 1500 students and is now seeking a Head of French who can provide a clear direction towards the French syllabus. For this role, you will be a passionate MFL practitioner who is keen to promote a high KS5 French intake. The MFL faculty teaches French and Spanish and are passionate about showing students the benefits of speaking additional languages. As Head of French, you will be overseeing 2 other French teachers and 1 language assistant where you can display your exceptional subject knowledge and support colleagues in achieving outstanding teaching practice. The school is part of a local academy trust with 4 other secondary and primary schools which allows plenty of scope for further progression and supporting trainee teachers in their initial stages of training. Furthermore, the school underwent an Ofsted in 2018 where the school was praised for the exceptional and respectful behaviour that students displayed. About the Role - Head of French - Bromley, South East London

To be considered for this role you have QTS in Secondary French
You must have recent experience teaching the UK Curriculum
This role is suitable for a current Head of French or an ambitious French teacher who is looking to take on a larger responsibility and progress in their career.
The successful candidate for this position will be an experienced French teacher who can teach to an outstanding standard.
The school is expecting the Head of French to be adept at promoting the French subject.
