This Ofsted "Outstanding" Secondary school is a big school with over 1000 students on roll across the school, plus a large sixth form. It is a mixed school for Year 7 to 13. It is a heavily and oversubscribed successful school and proud to be in the position it is today. Student achievement is high with a value-added score at A Level placing the school in the top 12% of schools nationally and 50% of GCSE students achieve the English Baccalaureate. The school is a wonderful school to work at which teachers thoroughly enjoy working in. About the Role - Head of Geography - Ealing, West London

• This secondary school is currently in need of a Head of Geography to lead an expanding and innovative Geography department.
• The role is to start at September, but the school can employ someone sooner.
• The teacher will be required to both teach Geography and lead the department of 7 Geography teachers.
• The teacher must have recent and relevant experience of teaching Geography in schools in the UK.
• They must also hold QTS.
• You will be required to teach from KS3 to KS5 and lead by example.
• In addition, you will be responsible for working on the curriculum, observing the other teacher, assessments, etc.
• The school is looking for a teacher who is aspirational and inspirational, who will make an impact.
