About the Role - Head of History - Greenwich, South-East London

*As Head of the History department, you will lead, develop and manage the effective delivery of an outstanding curriculum, enabling the highest level of student progress and attainment.
*As a Middle Leader, it is essential that you promote outstanding teaching and learning across the school and maintain high teaching standards.
*History is a popular choice at GCSE currently around 60% of students study it. Progress 8 scores have improved and over 40% of students have achieved grades 7-9 in History.
*The school is accepting applications from experienced History Teachers and whilst not essential, it is desirable that the applicant has previous leadership experience.
