Tradewind are currently recruiting for an experienced and successful Head of KS3 Maths
to join a rapidly improving Mathematics department and become part of their cohesive, professional and supportive team. The department is well resourced with interactive whiteboards in every classroom and each teacher having a work laptop. You will be both ambitious and passionate about teaching mathematics and bringing the best from every single one of your students. As part of the mathematics leadership team you will be responsible for the overall provision of KS3 Mathematics, working with the Subject Leader to share a clear vision and direction for the department.

You will be required to:
*Oversee all aspects of the work of the Maths Department at Key Stage 3 with regard to teaching and learning in Science, extra curricular activities including intervention and the provision of independent learning opportunities.
*Lead and manage, (advising, monitoring and holding accountable) the Year 7/8 post holder and to fulfil the role of Year Lead at KS3 for the "other" year. To share best practice across the key stage to aim for outstanding student outcomes.
*Be responsible for the strategic direction and development of all aspects of KS3 Maths
