*QTS in Secondary Teaching with a strong degree in Maths or Maths related subject
*Clear understanding of the principals of effective teaching
*Ability to motivate, engage and progress pupils from all backgrounds
*Understanding of GCSE and A-Level teaching and how to increase attainment
*Excellent subject knowledge
*Desire to support and develop staff at various stages of their career
*Ability to lead and develop a successful department
