About the School - Head of Music - Tower Hamlets, East London
Located in the vibrant East London borough of Tower Hamlets, this Ofsted 'Outstanding' Girls school has recently celebrated its 60th year of providing an excellent education for local pupils. Now the lead school in a Multi Academy Trust the school has grown from strength to strength in all areas, but especially results. Along with academic excellence this school places a lot of emphasis on the creative arts with music being especially important. The Music department is well funded with excellent equipment, classrooms and a sound-proof recording studio. Currently there are 3 full time teachers that make up the department, one of who holds the acting Head of Music title till the end of this academic year.

Role requirements - Head of Music - Tower Hamlets, East London
*QTS holder with experience of teaching Key Stage 3 to 5 music in U.K Schools for a minimum of 3 years.
*Must have achieved excellent results at GCSE and A-Level plus can pass your knowledge on to your colleagues.
*Previous experience coaching NQT's would be an advantage as the department will also have a new teacher from September.
*The desire to lead school productions is essential as the school has a long history of excellent performances for parents and the local community.
