About the school - Head of RE - Ealing, West London
*This West London school offers excellent training and support to teachers at all stages of their career. Staff receive regular training sessions and weekly CPD, as well as staff collaboration across the trust.
*The school is located in the heart of Acton, and the closest tube station is Acton Town on the District and Piccadilly Line.
*Since joining the school, the head teacher has had a positive impact on pupils' behaviour and staff morale. SLT are determined to improve the school and there is a clear vision and development plan in place to successfully achieve this.
*The school has joined a trust which has an excellent track record of improving schools in the local area, and they have already had an impact at this West London school. Teaching staff are now planning engaging lessons and planning matches the needs of the pupils so progression is occurring.
About the role - Head of RE - Ealing, West London
*As Head of the RE department, the successful candidate will lead the staff in the department, creating and delivery an outstanding curriculum, which enables the highest level of student progress and attainment.
*The role requires the teacher to lead by example and promote high standards within the team to create a strong collaborative culture. It is essential that the teacher has a strong track record of results and progress is evident from students of all abilities and starting points.
*This position requires someone to teach RE from KEY Stage 3 to 5, so excellent subject knowledge is needed and the teacher also would be required to teach a high percentage of students where English is not the first language.
*This position is not suitable for an NQT.
